GFS Shortlisted For Regional Business Award
Global Freight Solutions has been recognised for its commitment to innovation with inclusion on the shortlist for a prestigious regional business award.
GFS is one of three finalists chosen by the organisers of the Sussex Business Awards for their Innovation in Business Category.
The winners of all 14 award categories will be announced at a glittering event in Brighton in December.
GFS Managing Director Neil Cotty said reaching the final was an achievement in itself and tribute to the staff who helped maintain the company’s position as the leading carrier manager in the UK.
"The Sussex Business Awards are incredibly competitive, drawing entries from a significant number of strong businesses right across the region. We have made the final three but have our fingers crossed that we will head home on awards’ night with a trophy.
“Innovation – using a different approach to make a real, positive difference to the carrier industry - is what led to GFS being established in the first place. A succession of cutting edge developments has helped us reinforce our position as the most capable carrier manager around.
“Everyone within GFS strives to keep improving our standards and devising new ways of making the business of moving parcels even easier for our clients. Making the final three in the Innovation category is a tribute to their efforts as well as the ethics of the company as a whole.”
GFS will discover whether it has won the Innovation in Business award at an event hosted by ITN newscaster Nicholas Owen in Brighton’s famous Grand Hotel on 2nd December.
This year marks the 22nd year in which the Sussex Business Awards have been staged.
Date added 21st October 2010.
